Rent is a Pulitzer Prize-winning rock musical that changed the face of Broadway during its run. A modern retelliing of Puccini's classic opera La Boheme. It tells a story of a group of impoverished young artists and musicians living under the shadow of AIDS as they struggle to survive and create in the bleak and dangerous environment of New York's Lower East Side.
