After twenty-two years of life in the suburbs, Greg & Kate move to Manhattan. Just when Greg finds himself facing the uncertainty of middle age he finds a stray dog in the park with only a nametag - “Sylvia”. Sylvia is street smart and quickly becomes a bone of contention between Greg & Kate. To Greg, Sylvia offers an escape from the frustrations of his job and the unknowns of middle age. To Kate, Sylvia becomes a rival for affection. After a series of hilarious and touching complications, Greg and Kate learn to compromise, and Sylvia becomes a prized part of their lives.

Sly Fox

Sly Fox is a wildly improbable farce whose protagonist, Foxwell J. Sly, pretends to be dying so that others will bring him gifts of gold in order to guarantee a position as the wealthy man’s sole beneficiary. The play, set in 1880’s San Francisco, presents three acts of hilarious skullduggery involving Sly’s immense wealth and the fervent attempts of others to obtain it upon his death.

Two by Five

Kanter and Ebb, the “2” in 2 BY 5, have written many hit Broadway scores beginning with Flora the Red Menace and ending with last season’s Curtains. Their two monster hits are what they are best known for, Cabaret and Chicago. 2 By 5 is a review of the best of their music, prominently featuring the music of Cabaret and Chicago. Including: Wilkomen; Money, Money; Razzle Dazzle; All the Jazz; He Had it Coming and many more favorites—all performed by five performers—thus the “5”.

This winner of the Pulitzer Prize, is perennially one of the most popular plays performed in America. A beloved American classic, it follows the daily doings of townspeople as they pursue life, love, and the longing for more. The play provides a glimpse into their past and future, only to remind us of the power of the present.

Cats

Based on “Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats” by T. S. Elliot, Cats tells the story in song and dance of the annual gathering of Jellicle cats, at which time one special cat is selected to ascend to the Heavyside Layer. A true musical theater phenomenon, Cats opened at the Wintergarden Theatre in New York City, and ran for 18 years, making it one of Broadway’s longest running shows. It is Andrew Lloyd Webber’s finest score, featuring the haunting song, “Memory”.
